Win the Planet is an initiative created for the funding, building and promoting of the first online not-for-profit global lottery dedicated to sustainability.

 

With your support, we will:

  • Create a lottery bigger than anything you've ever seen.

So big that the largest jackpots of the US Powerball or the European Lottery will seem like scratch-card wins

  • Implement and develop a different business model

Did you know that most of the lotteries put only 30 to 50% of the revenues they get from selling tickets into the winnable jackpot? They use the rest to pay for their vast national distribution network and, last but not least, to give huge profits to their shareholders. 

We will use 80% of our lottery's profits to finance sustainability projects while the remaining 20% will be invested in the future development of the lottery.

  • Provide the lottery player with a meaningful experience
    Besides the joys of buying a ticket with your lucky numbers and fantasizing about winning hundreds of millions of euros, you will also enjoy doing a good deed. Because every purchase of a ticket also grants the right to vote for one's favorite sustainability project.

 

What will set us apart from the other lotteries:

  • our objective is to make a positive contribution to the global efforts to change the current direction our planet is going in (from a sustainability point of view).
  • we are aiming at the global market place
  • the lottery tickets will be sold online
  • the draws will be done with a RNG (random number generator) using atmospheric noise to pick the winning numbers
  • the jackpots will be impressively big, so the motivation to play is not only a social/environmental one
  • the majority of our profits (80%) will be invested in sustainability projects while the remaining 20% will be invested in the future development of the lottery
  • every purchase of a ticket in the lottery grants the buyer the right to vote for his favorite project
  • we plan to raise the money needed for the startup in two ways: crowdfunding and angel investors

 

How exactly can you help? 

In order to remain independent and not being forced to compromise by "quarterly review" type of investors, we decided to raise most of the funds required via crowdfunding.
